Rosaline gets some things absolutely right—the casting of Dever, the use of music to lampoon genre clichés, its creative point of view—but it misses the mark it establishes for itself. It’s a misguided work that highlights the insincerities that have emerged in Hollywood’s recent charge towards “inclusion” and “diversity.”

12+ Review Trigger Warning: Contains profanity This movie is another spin off movie of the famous play Romeo and Julliet the plot for this movie is as followed Left heartbroken after Romeo begins to pursue her cousin Juliet, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy in this comedic twist of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This film is comedy and it is a funny film as well as using a twist at the end that from Rosaline's Perspective (Julliet's Cousin and Romeo's Ex) that they do not die in the end and they fake it so they can use a boat to travel to a island and live there. But if you like Romeo and Julliet Comedy or Kaitlyn Dever and Isabela Merced you will like this movie. The cast are Kaitlyn Dever,Isabela Merced,Kyle Allen,Sean Teale,Christopher McDonald,Minnie Driver,Bradley Whitford,Spencer Rayshon Stevenson,Nico Hiraga Nicholas Rowe and Alistair Toovey.

Those who prefer their period pieces to be more traditional will find this blasphemous, but those willing to imagine a 16th century Verona with updated characters will get a kick out of Rosaline's antics.
