卡拉小姐和韋伯斯特分別就職於兩家廣告公司。一次，卡拉得知米勒公司要換廣告代理商，於是她連夜趕製出一套完整的廣告策劃方案。但當她第二天找到米勒公司時，米勒公司已經和自己的同行韋伯斯特簽約。氣憤的卡拉恨透了這個靠酒精和女人來獲得和約的傢伙，決定將韋伯斯特告到廣告協會，把他徹底踢出廣告界。
