Little is asked of talking-animal movies, save charm, heart, and at least one scene where said animal wears a lampshade. Good Boy! has all those things, plus a winning story line.

"Good Boy!" Is kind of a strange kids film, but it does have tender moments nonetheless. It's definitely entertaining, and it does kill time, but it's really only a slightly below-average kids movie. It's harmless though, and you can definitely do worse.
