While the premise eventually grows thin and the jokes turn repetitive by the third act, the chemistry between the movie’s three stars is both lively and substantial enough to keep the antics enjoyable.

Good acting, most jokes land, it is genuinely funny, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. I wish this film had better marketing when it was coming out because this was so much better than what I was expecting. My only issue is that sometimes the main characters say or do things that feel more suited to those way older or younger, depending on the scene.

Good Boys mines that gulf between childhood and adolescence like few films have before.
