意外惊喜，整体略散，可分段看就极佳。每个人都有令人厌恶的部分，像自渎，不敢展示人前，却又戒不掉，只能躲在墙纸发黄的房间里做短暂而丑陋的发泄。可是谁说这样不堪的我们就不值得被爱呢？哪怕只有一个瞬间，一个夜晚。 所以胖男孩和胖女该拥抱着跳完一首"All out of love"的模样让我掉眼泪。而最后父子深夜对话的一段更是惊艳，想不到小男孩最关键的一次性启蒙教育，是在父亲讲述自己恋童行为中完成的，那一刻，孩童的好奇天真被成年人狠狠一击，可那无法自控的成年人也哭得像个孩子，真是难以忘怀的场景。

Like David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino, and Paul Thomas Anderson, Solondz revels in ironic pop passion. It's a signature moment when he transforms Air Supply's "All Out of Love" into a geek-love rhapsody.
