Cole and Liu are grippingly believable, despite doing much of their acting through helmet visors, while Harrelson provides much-needed levity. The subaquatic cinematography conveys the vastness and terror of the open ocean.

Greetings from Lithuania. I've never heard a story that happened in real life before watching "Last Breath" (2025). Therefore my surprise was genuine towards the story, which i won't spoil here. As for the movie itself, its a retelling of a true story on big screen. For me it barely worked. The film is a very bare bones in every department. Its run time 1 h 28 min and the last few minutes already felt like drag. It is a story worth telling albeit there is a better format in documentary. As a feature film it is very predictable in terms of film making. Overall, even at 1 h 28 min "Last Breath" managed to feel like drag here and there. It just tells this miraculous story in a very generic and predictable way, and you will forget this film very soon after seeing it.

Sophie Monks Kaufman · Time Out 80.00/100.00

Last Breath depicts a workplace where instead of fabricated conflict coming from villainous colleagues, a team of people are battling with their own souls while under extreme duress. Their conscientious solidarity forms an undercurrent that breathes oxygen into the heart of this moving thriller.
