Though the redemption/coming-of-age narrative is highly predictable-with Glover appearing intermittently only to dispense bromides-Clarkson, at least, remains reliable.
I'm not gonna lie, I greatly enjoyed this movie. I felt it had a good, "sports movie" story line kinda like 2003's Radio. Solid performances also and a surprising performance from captain stone-face John Cena
Legendary is so intent on paying heartfelt tribute to dogged young athletes that it neglects basic story needs.
