7，两版《你往何处去》对意大利影史都有不可磨灭的产业价值，13年版是最早的长故事片，而51年版通过与好莱坞的合作，让罗马电影城完成登堂入室，引发了五十年代好莱坞去意大利拍古装片的热潮。电影本身没有太多可说的，基本算是个低配《宾虚》，米高梅大片里面那种浮夸的、拿腔拿调的做派是挺明显的，传教的内容也不比宾虚少太多。在文本改编层面，删掉了chilo这个原著当中非常重要的人物是一个非常大的改编错误，亦正亦邪，最终皈依基督，是原著博爱基调的重要体现，把这样的人物拿掉非常大的失策。
