It’s basically a narrative spin on Alex Gibney’s 2013 documentary “The Armstrong Lie,” only with less cycling footage. This is a plus for those of us easily bored by such things (so many interchangeable mountain passes and neon jerseys!), but there isn’t a ton of new material here.
Despite my enjoyment in this turning of the tables to focus on our being duped rather than his being found out, The Program has its failures.
The Program wisely hangs on Foster’s fierce performance, transforming himself into Lance.
The film is at its best when the storyline gets dangerously real and Bullock’s character struggles to justify the back room king making of a campaign with the needs of the country’s poor majority.
The inside track on one of sport’s biggest scandals, nimbly shot and sharply scripted, powered by an outstanding performance from Ben Foster and the quiet integrity of Chris O’Dowd.
This fearless reconstruction drives home the dark lie that Lance Armstrong lived – it’s just a pity it doesn’t dig a little deeper.
The Program offers no obvious new revelations and Armstrong remains elusive – but it has an unsettling air that carries us through its more pedestrian patches.
It’s a fluid and nippy telling of a tale that still seems strangely urgent.
You sense structural uncertainty about what the Armstrong saga connotes and how exactly it was begging to be told. But you can’t take your eyes off Foster.
It must be said that Foster - who adhered to the actual doping program during filming - excels as Armstrong. Bearing an unnerving physical resemblance to the fallen cycling hero, he is a revelation in a remarkable tour de force - not France - performance.
作为运动惊悚片他太专注于黑白双方的人物了，作为传记片他又太流水账没把握好阿壮这个人物本身，他自大社达为了赢能付出一切，不可一世但同时又敏感多疑，本片没把握住矛盾点而只是塑造了一个药王…… 优点：Plemons演Landis是神选角；阿壮和Landis在宾馆躺着，镜头往上一摇他们在输血，这是全片最精彩的一镜！ 男主把握住了阿壮著名的the stare也很努力模仿了，但是他长得太像kwiato了我好出戏…… 一个事实，开篇是穿彩虹衫的阿壮，据阿壮说，他那时就开嗑了😅也就是来欧洲比赛之前，他之前在美国也有一些比赛是靠贿赂对手赢的（维诺库洛夫：？老哥原来你是先驱者） Ménochet演Bruyneel，有点亲切；卡内演Ferrari医生，故意说一口奇怪的英语，但学的一点都不像意大利口音，笑掉大牙。
获胜的欲望让他战胜癌症，但是获胜的欲望也让他误入歧途。
无价值，关乎于钱商业和他们造神。如果是女选手多的一项竞技运动，也并不会被造神而且还不会让她们得到比男选手更多的钱。避开竞技类电影不看

4.5。对不了解人物的我来说讲得比较简明，从头到尾保持住兴趣，不过肯定不是满星水准，比较喜欢便四舍五入地打分
心疼男神吉约姆·卡内沦为配角。
英法合拍的电影，并没因为兰斯通过欺骗手段获得大量荣耀而黑他，这是让人欣赏的。比如最开始兰斯说过：“我不会用兴奋剂的”以及最后听闻自己被终身禁赛后的崩溃反应。 这部电影把他塑造成了一个因为热爱自行车运动与强烈追求冠军而走火入魔的平凡人，即使不是英雄，也不是一个骗子。

在冲绳蛋疼至极的一天意外找到了家不错的艺术影院，恰好有一场合适的英文电影，售票小哥超nice主动帮买了会员票，一看还是本福斯特、李佩斯、达斯汀霍夫曼演的阿姆斯特朗传记片，观影环境也非常安静舒服，简直是连中五张彩票的幸福感啊。电影有点流水账，福斯特表演略油，但我还是看得太开心了。
浪费了几个好演员，也终于想起来上映时为什么没去看...
流水账式的纪录片，尽可能还原事件背后的原委，没有褒扬和批判，仅仅是还原真相，对事件背后的体制崩坏没有深度挖掘和探讨，刻画方式还是过于单薄，挺可惜的，本来极好的传记故事，惊心动魄和顶承巨压秒见主题归置，但都被导演给鼓捣的波澜不惊，人物塑造的扁平和脸谱化，内心挣扎表现趋于表面，很一般

猎奇感十足的传记片，一个偏执狂的伟大与陨落
看完并不觉得armstrong多可恶，不仅运动是肮脏的，整个世界都是肮脏的

也没有特别在黑Lance Armstrong，毕竟一开头就说清楚了，这是心智的较量；比如大家都吃禁药、大家都见媒体，Floyd Landis就表现得那么蠢。而且还是给了Lance一些肯定的描述，比如去探望癌症小孩。最后，一句话：错就要认，打就要企定。见到佩佩和Elaine Cassidy确实有点意外。
阿壮13年公开嗑药后，短短两年间关于他的纪录片已拍了两部，对于还不太不明真相的观众，这部流水账传记片是个很好的普及，完整记录了阿壮从走向神坛到最终跌落的全过程。主动找上毒师费拉里，大量注射EPO，躲避检测，威胁欺侮告密者、控诉者，太多的阴暗面，既因体制环境，也因个人野心和手腕与众不同

全片都是爱疯音乐 最后却非常点题得用了首leonard cohen, 就那种一学期考试从来没及格过 期末意外考了个全班第一的即视感 @tiff
