Theron and Washington vamp this monstrosity up and almost never let on that they know this project didn’t really work out. That sets an example for the many younger players in the cast, who do their best to play more than this scene’s stunning costume.

This movie needs to be watched literally. If u don't judge it mainly on how they have to cut things out from the book series than you'll absolutely love it. Literally. I dont know how this movie is underrated. I just bought the books because I enjoyed the movie so much and I love the main two leads. Yes im still not a fan of races waking certain characters especially Agatha but at the same time the actress that played her did a really good job. And sofie. Omg who ever played sofie needs a raise. She literally killed it. She's literally my favorite female lead in any genre now. She's so freaked awesome. Please make either a sequal for this series or a reboot and make a TV show. This book series needs to be adapted literally. It has has great messaging in it that is so relatable. U want to have a completely knew story being told, this is it. I'm a big huge fan now. And the ending, man was so emotional. It was so good. Please don't give up on this series it's too good not to have a proper adaptation. Literally

Fans of Soman Chainani’s popular fantasy series might feel as if a giant bone bird swooped out of the sky and carried them to streaming heaven, but not even Charlize Theron’s Mad Hatter cosplay or Michelle Yeoh’s cameo as a professor of smiling will be enough to enchant a wider audience to such a painfully overworked saga of friendship.
