i was pleasantly surprised by this as it was on daytime free to air, Government supported, TV... 'World Movies' on SBS in Australia. I caught it in the first 5 minutes and couldnt look away. since then ive been reading about it. I'm no professional movie critic, but i am very critical of movies, and sensitive to being patronised by them. This was superbly acted and written. I why it was nominated for so many awards, and yet wasnt well known here.

Leslie’s journey is at once unflinchingly intimate, aching and melancholy—qualities accentuated by Larkin Seiple’s sublime cinematography, which resembles a somber travelogue.
