Really, honestly, actually, it isn't all that bad...It's sort of like "Flipper" without the dolphin.

Oh, the old days. Today, no one would mind such a show but back then it was the hit. From season 3 it went steeply uphill but in the end it was unnecessarily prolonged. The last few seasons have been rather mediocre.

Although the sights are beautiful, the premiere is less a story than a seascape, lacking the dramatic intensity and credible characters necessary to sustain an hour...You suspect that the creators of Baywatch are lifeguards moonlighting as writers.
