Black Lagoon (2006)

it a really good seinen anime, i wish there was a 4. season there is enough manga content.maybe one day

I am amazed by the detail of this anime. How good the guns detail are the smoke and especially the character development from the main character rock.Journey from a celery man to pirate is a really well done one and the City is character of its own is amazing. I can smell the desperation in the Air and the feeling that Everybody is after me.Rock Partners in crime from the Lagoon company, just so nice and well developed and cool. I think that is what this anime mostly about being cool seeing fun s having gruesome character dialogues when they talk about how cruel and cynical the world is it's just one of those ****, it's a fun show to watch explosion guns the f** up dialogue. I really enjoy it. It's so entertaining. On one level you can enjoy as dumb fun ,and on another you can enjoy as a deep character Development **** world building is so good. So many real names and guns and it just adds to the experience of texture everything has.

Se podría decir a grandes rasgos que Black Lagoon es de la hermana de Lupín III y Cowboy beebop en el sentido de tratarse de un grupo de personajes a la deriva buscando un rumbo perdido que en algún momento de sus vidad pareció claro y definido. Y a esta base BL añade un contexto histórico-ideologico pues los hechos transcurren en la primera década de 1990, como coletazo de la caída del muro de Berlín y el fin de Unión Soviética. Una época tan ilusoriamente tranquila de capitalismo pletórico que un "gringo japonés" dijo, era, el fin de la historia. Pero BL muestra la cara B de los restos de la revolución y la utopía donde solo queda podredumbre y crimen. Se ríe a carcajadas de la cursilería e inocencia de cada idealista y pseudomaterialista. Pero no solo es eso. Black Lagoon, más allá des sus hermanas es descendiente directa (aunque no lo parezca) de La divina comedia (el infierno) y por extensión de la película Apocalipsis Now. Por debajo del evidente barniz bukowskiano nihilista, BL esconde el viaje hacia lo profundo, desde el punto de vista del protagonista (el capitán Willard o Rock) hacia la oscuridad, la locura y la maldad ocupando todos los recursos de los que disponen para mantenerse cuerdos. 9/10

Una trama que engancha de principio a fin, una animación que pese a los años me ha encantado, la banda sonora que te mantiene todo el rato en acción y unos personajes increíbles.

Hardcore Anime Action TV-Series with a lot of shooting and a great adventure, Great Story. This is my Favorite Japanese Anime TV-Series and i can highly recommend it.

A series with great doses of action and adrenaline rush. Soft nudity of japanese animes is present and the music is really something!!It really feel like an 80's action film!

Black Lagoon is definitely one of my favorites I'm glad I decided to watch it again and I'm kinda happy it isn't a long-running series, short and sweet. Great animation, killer music and scratches that 80s and 90s action movie itch.
