It’s engaging in a more serialized storytelling mode, the world itself, and time’s continual march forward. But these creators aren’t letting Trump’s patriarchy dictate their decisions. These scary forces don’t control Season 4; Glazer and Jacobson do, and they’ve never been more powerful.

Like a packed piñata of absurdity, each episode rains unforeseen treats, from physical pranks to existential banter to all manner of sexual exuberance. It’s all smartly visualized around town and briskly stitched together.
Uproarious, tear-inducing, side-splitting, and tell-everyone-you-love-and-hate-immediately good, Broad City is the funniest show on TV right now and, given time, its brazen inventiveness will probably net it an "all time" qualifier.
Each half hour feels as free-wheeling and wild as Ilana so boldly is, but also as meticulously put-together as Abby strives to be.
Abbi and Ilana are back and as unapologetic and funny as ever. Broad City season two is simultaneously old and new, with the same madcap stoner hilarity and a handful of fresh new faces.... But even these great comedic actors never distract from who is really in charge.
It's one of the most purely funny shows on television--where many "comedies" are really dramas in half-hour form, and others are likable but rarely laugh-out-loud funny--and it's only more confident, sharp and very much its own thing in the new season.
Initial indications are good--the second season of Broad City may even exceed the first.
Broad City presents a recognizable, recognizably hilarious perspective on what trying-but-failing looks like from the inside.
They know how to nail situations/characters, while snappy edits cull fluff, leaving only comic gold.
Broad City is a very good show dedicated to conversation and the things we do to get by.
You could not pay me to sit through this....... 10 minutes into this and I couldn't take it any longer. The situational comedy is cringe, the jokes fall flat, the acting is terrible, the plot is unoriginal and the characters are simply unlikable.
So good. I love how John Gemberling acts as a roommate. He's one of the smartest and funniest comedians I've ever heard.
Hey what do you know, people getting into and experiencing hijinx in a clever way with thoughtful insight and witty one liners. You know, like, a well done comedy.
I do not know how this show has lasted 4 seasons when other gems are cancelled after 2. This is the lowest effort comedy show I've ever seen. The gags are reduced to screaming, toddler style physical humor, and failed attempts at tragedy comedy. It feels like every second is attempting to be comedic which ends up spoiling whatever comedy there could have been. Every line of dialogue is incredibly contrived, every gag, twist and surprise is trying so hard to be funny through absurdity that it's too absurd to be funny. Any sense of plot there could be is incoherent, choppy, and mostly predictable making it completely empty and useless. Every show or movie can sometimes have at least one element that's done correctly, here I found only the image and sound quality to be passable, and that's easily explained by buying good equipment. I have never reviewed a movie or show before. Never saw a need, this show is so bad i was driven to write a bad review. It's just THAT bad.
Absolute WORST show I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching. I choked down three episodes and would rather gouge my eyes out than watch another.
