Borzillieri's crusading intensity is also the most frustrating part of Evil Genius, because it confuses the authorship and focus of the entire series.

Fascinating and macabre. Very well put together. It's hard to believe that people like this actually exist but they do, and lots of them. One point I would make is about the title. Nobody is a genius here. Idiots abound and receive karma justly.

In short, Evil Genius is the kind of documentary that lives and dies by its story. Luckily, it’s a compelling one.
