And therein lies the main flaw of this otherwise entertaining show. Not much time is devoted to actually teaching the novices the top-notch technique that they'd need to make it in one of Ramsay's successful London establishments, let alone the restaurant that gives the program its name.
It's painfully derivative on so many fronts that it sometimes seems you're watching five reality shows at once.

I think Ramsay makes some very incorrect decisions when choosing who should leave and who should win, its like he's blind to the progress and capabilities of few of the chefs there were who could definitely deserved better chances than the specific round of nominations they had to leave through. Hello. I think hell’s kitchen is a great show and I can’t stop watching it. However, I would like to make a suggestion. I think that the contestants’ height should be included as their age and occupation is. Or I think they should say their height as they introduce theirselves.
