The visual components of the show—particularly the armament and the battle scenes—are sleek enough to excite younger viewers. But the plots and characters in Space are as thin as the air up there, and might leave adults floating out in the cold.
As slow and obvious as The X-Files is fast and subtle. ... With its tiresome Top Gun dogfights and Babylon 5 blabbiness, Space seems unlikely to spawn the rabid cult following that the Fox network hopes for.

This short lived 90s sci fi action drama tries its best to push through the limited visual effects budget to tell a range of stories. The characters and writing are great overall with some memorable episodes. Worth a watch for any modern sci fi fans.
