Taskmaster (2015)

Taskmaster’s 11th season gets off to good start. ... In fact, all of the episode’s challenges deliver some golden moments.

It all seemed a bit awkward at first - five comedians sitting in socially distanced formation in a studio the size of an Amazon warehouse. But the longer I watched, the more I surrendered. And the longer I thought about it afterwards, the more it made sense. ... It’s fun, and nothing else is at the moment. Taskmaster is the show we need right now.

All is gloriously as it gloriously was. Which is to say – charming, batshit, hilarious, determinedly low stakes, entirely absorbing and restorative throughout.

Taskmaster is so funny, we wonder why it hasn’t come to the US sooner. And yes, we don’t count that Reggie Watts version.

Arguably the most reliably funny TV show of the last Decade, Taskmaster always delivers plenty of laughs from it's ridiculous challenges.

Nothing better....ever! I love Greg Davies and Alex Horn, they have really great on screen chemistry that's so awkward which makes their interaction naturally funny. I don't know anyone who doesn't enjoy this show. Give it a watch, but start from season 1!

I've been a huge fan of this show since it started (and I pretend that the US version never happened) and I cannot recommend this show enough. The joy of Taskmaster is not only in the creative and hilarious approaches to tasks but also in the interactions between the contestants and the hosts. It's like watching a slightly dysfunctional, yet close-knit family. It's all very good-natured, very British and extremely funny.
