Tracker (2024)

Tracker has streamlined its storytelling once again in Season 3, and the show is better for it. What we hope is that Colter gets more complex cases like the one that involved The Process, while he tries to figure out how to confront his mother about his father’s death.

If parts of Season 2 felt too muddled and bogged down by overextended anticipation, Season 3 will feel like a breath of fresh air. If the rest of the season is as strong as this premiere, which plays to everything audiences have come to love about Tracker, then we're in for a real network TV-sized treat.

It wouldn't come as a surprise if this series lasted a decade on the network. It really is that good, and Colter Shaw is just a delightful character to watch on screen that we can only hope he sticks around for a long time.

“The Good Wife” (also on CBS) was one of those prestreaming shows that demonstrated just how smart, sophisticated, subtle, sly and wickedly funny a network series could be, and they have imported those qualities into the more overtly comical, completely delightful “Elsbeth.”

Tracker works mainly because Justin Hartley doesn’t try to reinvent his acting style to play Colton Shaw. And the show has just enough of a backstory, and quirky side characters, to give viewers reasons to tune in beyond the case-of-the-week stories.

The network has found a new leading man for a show with a decent balance of spectacle and intimacy, flashy action scenes and quippy romantic tension.

The very definition of comfort-viewing television and (based on the three episodes made available to me) seems poised to make an extended run.

Is this great TV? Oh, no. But it is undemanding, enjoyable, and has potential for further development. It’s easy on the brain and, oh yes, the eyes. Which kind of makes it perfect post Super Bowl viewing.

McEnany and Weigert have each starred in better series and this material is beneath them, but their lived-in performances prove they aren’t snobs, elevating “Tracker” every time they’re on screen.

While the series has some minor issues, Tracker is addictively entertaining. A charismatic lead, plenty of adventure, hints at unrevealed secrets, and an appealing supporting cast make this yet another satisfying CBS crime drama.

Tracker is a great show on cbs. The dark stuff is a great watch, but also the action and humor is good.

A crime show that isn't revolving around murder but just finding people or things. It might have been inspired by The Finder from a few years ago but is a bit more serious. The premise is often simple but offers enough depth to fill an episode with a lot of stuff that makes sure you are never bored.

I like Tracker however wondering when is going to find out his mother pushed his dad over the cliff and his brother is covering for her :-) Just my idea of the end show

This is a really fun and laid back show. Love the characters and it's a bit quirky and funny. I'm enjoying how the guy gets to cruise around and take care of business.

I enjoy watching the show as it is filmed all over van and I recognize the locations. The self contained episode stories are entertaining. The show is as subtle with woke topics as a rhino stampeding into a rainbow glass shop. Ihave become better as overlooking the bs and can enjoy the story for what it is. Cool show so far

Like a fairy tale movie, reality does not exist, let´s play hide and seek. Kitschy and to nice to be entertaining.

Wait until 5:00 in to see why some critics are gushing helplessly over this one. Sadly, another great mildly entertaining plotline, interesting main character gets thrown on the heap due to woke box-checking. Bye, Tracker.
