What Men offers is the pleasure of watching people who know what they're doing do it well. Jones' mixture of bratty spunk and vulnerability keeps Jake from seeming too precocious or too cute. Sheen is so amusingly sardonic and cheerfully self-aware, he makes Charlie's immaturity endearing rather than annoying. And there just aren't many actors who are better at funny-fussbudget than Cryer -- or who have more polished comic skills.

My favorite series, but I must admit that from the 7th season it loses a lot of quality. From the 9th season it seems that the series gained a survival with the entry of Ashton Kutcher, they had some good episodes yes, however, many other episodes were basically a copy of episodes from past seasons, in a clear attempt to lift the spirit again.
It was nice until they fired main actor and then it was not as good anymore, they should have ended it then
The early seasons had some great episodes and good humor. The later seasons are not as good and once they got rid of Charlie the entire show is a complete joke and not in a good way. Ashton Kutcher more like Ashton Butcher because he butchered the show with his presence.
Kinda interesting in season 1 but rapidly devolved after that. For the rest of it, the characters and situations evolve, mostly, around underlying themes of nihilism, narcissism and sado-masochism.
This show is an easy to watch comedy that scores some good yet often cheap laughs. The character of Charlie really was a make or break for the show and the absence of him from later seasons is the reason for which the show receives such a mediocre rating. Whilst Kutcher and Cryer were strong actors, Lorre's writing and clear vendetta against Sheen were too noticeable to ignore and left a distinct poor taste within the show's latter half.
The show was great with Charlie Sheen. The move to Ashton Kutcher was a bad decision. Kutcher is a good actor, but just not able to replace Sheen. The show got worse with addition of Charlie's lesbian daughter (Amber Tamblyn)in Season 11, and the emphasis on drugs instead of booze. She's just not funny at all. It finally jumped the shark when Edan Alexander joined the cast. I always change the channel now when the Kutcher episodes come on. Those episodes just aren't worth the time.
My favorite sitcom,very funny. Charlie was the best actor, Kutcher wasn't bad, but it wasn't the same. Producers finally killed this series.
I love this show. I was growing up on this. Charlie Sheen is one of the best comedy actors, that i've ever seen, but since he left the show, the quality of the show falled down.
