Peter Travers · ABC News 75.00/100.00

It’s frustrating that this immense, immersive true-crime story has been squeezed into a two-hour movie instead of a miniseries about the two women reporters—superbly played by Keira Knightley and Carrie Coon—who broke a notorious case the police could not.

ClownNiko 4.00/10.00

A well -intentioned film that honors the hard and hurdle -rich work of the two journalists Loretta McLaughlin and Jean Cole to investigate women's murders in Boston. This part of the film was also successful thanks to the two main actresses. Unfortunately, this is the only thing that makes the film worth seeing. The story is told boring and offers no tension sheets that captivate the viewer. That's why you can look at him, but he won't be remembered.

Stephanie Zacharek · Time 80.00/100.00

Knightley, in a performance as crisp as the corners of an envelope, makes McLaughlin’s perseverance—and the pressures she faced as she also tried to be a good wife and mother—deeply believable.
