Uncommon Valor1983

The basic idea of Uncommon Valor is so interesting that it's all they can do to make a routine formula movie out of it. But they do.

不知道是严肃看待还是把他视为娱乐作品，如果是当成前者看他东一榔头西一棒的很差。在我看来就是一部不那么80s硬汉的 Rambo，抄袭了十二金刚但根本没有什么人物性格的东西。糊弄不了大人又逗不乐小孩的电影。

Hackman's performance, beautiful photography by Stephen Burum and Ric Waite, and some effective action direction from Ted Kotcheff make this watchable, but the jingoist wish-fulfillment inherent in the material is ultimately disturbing.
